Leading low carbon retrofit company, Energys Group, is encouraging public sector organisations across England to take advantage of Salix funding for energy-efficiency projects before the 31st March 2016.

There is still funding available for a wide range of energy saving projects across all areas of the public sector including local authorities, higher and further education institutions, maintained schools and NHS Trusts and Foundation Trusts.

Energy-saving projects

Over 120 energy-saving technologies are covered by the Salix funding. “Retrofit technologies, such as LED lighting, T5 lighting upgrades and boiler optimisation technologies represent energy-saving quick wins for many organisations,” advises Kevin Cox, Managing Director of Energys Group. “Salix funding provides a great opportunity for colleges to invest in these technologies without the usual financial risk.”

Help with funding application

Applying for funding can be complicated, but Energys can help organisations through every step of the process. We recently helped Hackney Community College secure two rounds of Salix funding for a number of energy saving upgrades including LED lighting, specialist insulation and boiler optimisation. As a result of the projects carried out by Energys, the college is saving 320 tonnes of carbon a year.
