1. Project Support Officer

Overview

With a strong focus on capturing energy and financial savings, Energys is committed to reducing our client’s carbon footprint, from a range of energy conservation measures and renewable technology installations.

An excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic trainee to join our existing team. Office and field based, the Project Support Officer will provide end-to-end coordination of energy efficient installation projects, working closely with Account and Project Managers as well as site based personnel. The role would suit a recent graduate with an aptitude to develop towards Junior Project Management. It is essential that you have a full driving license and own transport to be able to attend site meetings.

Main duties and responsibilities


Including but not limited to:

  • Support the Project Manager creating Projects / Project Plans
  • Support the Project Manager in all aspects of site setup prior to installation
  • Assist in conducting Prestart meetings and site survey checks prior to installation
  • Support in monitoring project programs
  • Liaise with Project Managers and Customer Service Delivery Manager, helping with all aspects of the installation administration
  • Create, maintain and issue documentation
  • Completion of paperwork and documents to produce the O&M manual

Skills

  • High levels of numeracy
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills, particularly Excel
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic team player

Experience

  • Experience of working within a role with strong emphasis on teamwork to achieve the set objectives

  • Ability to demonstrate experience of accurate planning and attention to detail

£24,200.00 – £29,040.00

2. Logistics Stock Controller

Overview

With a strong focus on capturing energy and financial savings, Energys is committed to reducing our client’s carbon footprint, from a range of energy conservation measures and renewable technology installations.

An excellent opportunity for an experienced logistics stock controller to join our existing team. This is a busy and varied role where you will work closely with Procurement & Logistics Manager to ensure stock control processes within the Logistics department run smoothly. You will liaise often with our third party Logistics warehouse based in Dunstable to ensure successful delivery of goods in and out with a high level of accuracy. 

Main duties and responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic professional who has previous experience in a similar role. You will take ownership for the stock control processes using strong planning and analytical skills being an advanced Excel user.

  • Assist in all Logistics processes from checking sales orders, raising picks and purchase orders on third party suppliers and tracking all deliveries to site
  • Assist in managing stock control including taking part in regular stock counts and resolving queries/discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate stock records
  • Assist in the reconciliation of stock returns and goods received at the office store as well as liaising with operatives at the main warehouse to ensure stock records are accurately maintained

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent data analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail (essential)
  • Clear communication skills are required – the ability to clearly convey information and updates (essential)
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills (essential)
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook and Teams (essential)
  • The ability to identify problems and to take remedial action
  • Understanding the principles of stock management (essential)

The role is heavily administration based so strong computer skills and good attention to detail are important. There is an element of physical handling of goods at the office warehouse. Due to the main warehouse location from the office, it’s essential that you have a full driving license and own transport to be able to attend the warehouse regularly and as needed.

Salary

£29,282.00 – £35, 138.40
