The Renewable Heat Premium Payment (RHPP) which ran until July 4 this year has been reopened for landlords wishing to install devices such as biomass boilers, solar hot water panels and heat pumps.

Due to the success of the original scheme, an additional £2.5m has been made available to registered providers for social housing who can bid for funds of up to almost £160k.

The bids will be evaluated by the Energy Saving Trust and applications can be made online. The closing date for applications is October 9 2012.
