Green Deal energy efficient makeovers look set to be open to a wide range of offices and business premises – as well as households – in October, when the scheme launches.
While the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) had indicated that the autumn launch would focus on households, BusinessGreen has revealed that at least two Green Deal service providers are to offer building improvements to businesses soon after the scheme’s launch in October.
And Government officials have also confirmed there is nothing to stop non-domestic premises from taking up Green Deal packages from the start.
