Combined Heat and Power

CHP or Co-generation involves the local generation of electricity to be utilised onsite or exported to the grid. The CHP unit then harnesses the waste heat generated to provide hot water and heating to the site buildings.

By generating both electricity and heat CHP is far more efficient with less energy wasted improving energy efficiency by as much as 50% against traditional gas boilers.

Energys Group has a technology agnostic approach to CHP offering both reciprocating engines and microturbine technologies. This enables us to choose the most suitable technology for each project and application.
