Partnership helps charities to identify energy savings and reduce CO2

New funding scheme helps schools reduce energy costs

Energys Group, specialists in energy efficient retrofit technologies and Smart Eco Energy Ltd have announced a partnership with Utility Rentals to help schools and academies significantly reduce their lighting energy costs through the provision of a funding scheme dedicated to schools. This  leasing scheme requires no capital investment and allows the school to pay for the equipment from the energy savings achieved.

Lighting upgrade saves West Sussex County Council 29 tonnes of CO2

A lighting upgrade to the County Hall headquarters of West Sussex County Council in Chichester has reduced its lighting energy consumption by a staggering 40%, as a result of a project to replace its old fluorescent lamps with energy-efficient equivalents using the retrofit converter device, ‘Save It Easy®’ from Energys Group.
